About my Geography Work

I graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Geography in 2017.
My focus in this area was in environmental studies which included population geography, GIS, health geography, city planning, climatology, and access. All of these skills I continue to use professionally within libraries, most notably within the University of Southern Califonia's VKC Library as an intern.

Examples

I am currently an intern at USC's VKC library where I am researching, digitizing, and georeferencing a series of government planning documents from 1991. The first link is to the workflow that I created. The second is to a preliminary publication of the digitized and georeferenced map to visualize what this might look like in the future (but on a larger scale).

About my Film Work

Along with my geography degree, I also graduated with a bachelor's in film studies.
My focuses in this particular area were in animation theory, the representation of identity as constructed on screen, film noir, and queer theory.
